Raynold Martin Larson, 11 year old son of Mr. & Mrs. Martin Larson, passed away at his home in this city at 9:30 Saturday night. A little over a year ago he was stricken with a heart malady, which in spite of all that medical aid could do, grew steadily worse. When school opened last fall he could not take his accustomed place among his little classmates but had to remain at home. All hoped that he would be able this summer to join the other children in their happy, carefree play again but God willed otherwise. About three weeks ago the little sufferer was obliged to take to his bed from which he did not rise again.

Raynold's entire life was spent in Hawarden, he having been born in this city July 16, 1921. He was baptized in early infancy. Of a happy and sunny disposition, he endeared himself to his little playmates and schoolmates, his teachers and all who came in contact with him. Besides his parents his death is mourned by four brothers and three sisters, Leland, Marvin, Reuben, Leslie, Lucille, Jeannette and Ruth. One infant brother preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the home and at 1:30 at Trinity Lutheran Church, conducted by Rev. George Steinkamp. Interment was made in Grace Hill cemetery.
