Harry Lamoreaux, 63, of Cherokee, died in a hospital there Wednesday, July 26, from injuries suffered when a pickup truck which he was driving overturned near Lake Park.
Mrs. F. I. Jenkins of Spirit Lake, his sister, reported that a broken rib had punctured one lung and the other collapsed. Mrs. Jenkins and her husband were in business in Hawarden many years.
Mr. Lamoreaux was a druggist and an antique shop operator at Cherokee for more than 40 years.
He is survived by two sons, James of Phoenix, Ariz., and Charles, who is stationed on Guam; a daughter, Ellen in California, and two sisters, Mrs. Jenkins and Mrs. Carrie Harding of Des Moines.
