Funeral services for Bertram H. Landau, 62, father of Dr. B. E. Landau, chiropractor in Hawarden, were held Saturday at Shamakin, PA. He had resided in Pennsville, N.J., for 40 years but was buried near his former home.

Mr. Landau died suddenly Wednesday, January 21, less than 48 hours after Dr. Landau returned home after a week's visit with his father, who had been seriously ill but appeared to be out of danger.

A frequent visitor in Hawarden, Mr. Landau spent Christmas here a year ago with his son and family, his last visit west. He had been employed by E. I. Dupont Co.

Survivors include the widow; two sons, Jack of Newark, Del., and Dr. Landau of Hawarden, and seven grandsons.
