Funeral services will be held at the Christian Reformed Church at Ireton at 10:30 A.M., November 19 for Arie Van Bruggen, 56, of Ireton, who died at the Orange City hospital November 16 after a three month illness.

Services will be conducted by the Rev. Bernard Fynaardt and burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Ireton.

Mr. Van Bruggen was born at Maurice December 22, 1916. He married Anna Schiebout November 29, 1945, in Ireton. They farmed near Ireton until 1962 when they moved into Ireton.

Survivors include the widow; four sons, Marvin of Orange City, and Glen, Michael and Kevin, all at home; three daughters, Mrs. James (Arlene) Topp of Denver, and Debra and Anita both at home; four sisters, Mrs. John (Tracy) Vander Schaaf of Sioux Center, Mrs. Clifford (Alice) Reinking of Ireton, Mrs. Jack (Josephine) Vander Griend of Orange City and Mrs. Dana Reinking of Bellflower, Calif.; four brothers, Henry of Ireton, Wilson of Chicago, Theodore of Vermillion, S.D., and Albert of Hawarden, and two grandchildren.
