Funeral services were held at the First Reformed Church in Doon at 1:30 P.M., January 3 for Andrew Ten Braak, 87, of Doon, who died in a Cherokee Hospital December 31.

Services were conducted by the Rev. Norman Meening and burial was in Hillside Cemetery in Doon.

Mr. Ten Braak was born in The Netherlands, January 6, 1887. He came to the U.S. in 1910, and married Margaret Beyer, September 29, 1920 in Newton. They moved to Doon and Mr. Ten Braak farmed there until 1956. Mrs. Ten Braak died May 1, 1947.

Survivors include three sons, Henry of Doon, Chris of Wichita, Kan., and Andy of Rapid City, S.D.; three daughters, Mrs. Palmer (Christina) Erickson of Garretson, S.D., Mrs. Adolph (Martha) Anderson of Doon, and Mrs. Robert (Jennie) Stallman of Hartley and 19 grandchildren.
