Funeral services were held at the Christian Reformed Church in Ireton at 1:30 P.M., December 6, for Mrs. Floris Vander Stoep, 74, of Maurice, who died at her home December 4.

Services were conducted by the Rev. John Rubingh and burial was in West Lawn Cemetery in Orange City.

Mrs. Vander Stoep, the former Gertrude Mulder, was born June 6, 1900, in The Netherlands. She came to the U.S. with her parents at the age of 7. She was married March 12, 1922. The couple farmed in the Maurice area.

Survivors include the widower, six sons, Andrew and Dick, both of Maurice, Herbert and Edwin, both of Rock Rapids, Clarence of Orange City, and Harold of Sioux Center; two daughters, Mrs. Sadie Ver Hoeven of Hawarden, and Mrs. Gertrude Mohlenkamp of Sanborn, several grandchildren; a brother, Bastin, of Orange City; and two sisters, Mrs. Hilda Fedders and Mrs. Maggie Lyftog.

NOTE: Date of death says December 54, probably the 4th.
