Funeral services were held at Trinity Lutheran Church at Hawarden at 1:30 P.M., Friday, November 21, for the Rev. Otto F. Pittack, 70, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church of Hawarden for 23 years, who died November 18 at Hawarden hospital after a long illness.

Services were conducted by the Rev. Dewight E. Rengstorf, pastor, and the Rev. Arthur W. Anacker, of Sheboygan, Wis., former pastor of St. Paul and St. John Lutheran Churches at Ireton.

Burial was in Grace Hill cemetery at Hawarden.

The Rev. Mr. Pittack was born July 2, 1905, in rural Scribner, Neb. He married Mildred Heitman September 4, 1930, at Dalton, Neb.

He was ordained September 7, 1930 at Lexington, Neb., where he served until 1952. Mrs. Pittack died August 22, 1963.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Robert J. (Mary Louise) Berghal of Atlanta, Ga.; a son, Wesley, of Omaha, six grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. George (Ruth) Steil of Omaha, and Mrs. Herbert (Edna) Kurz of Scribner, Neb.
