Services Held For Marie Peters
Funeral services for Marie Peters, 55, were held Saturday at the Trinity Lutheran church in Hawarden, Rev. O. F. Pittack officiating. Burial was in Grace Hill cemetery.
She died Wednesday night of last week after a long illness.
Mrs. R. .C. Bunge was organist. The church choir sang "I'm But A Stranger Here" and "For Me To Live As Jesus
Casket bearers were Lindy Rich, Michael Johnson, Terry Peters, Danny Peters, Larry. Abbey, and Randy Rich.
She was born January 2, 1911, near Akron and had been a resident of Hawarden since 1927. She had been in the restaurant business here several years and was a member of the Trinity Lutheran church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Gene Case, and Mrs. Orland Abbey, both of Hawarden; one brother, Delbert Peters of Hawarden; six. sisters, Mrs. Lowell Goodrich, Mrs. Rose Johnson, Mrs. Iva Chriswisser,. Mrs. Woodrow Peters and Miss Ellen Peters, all of Hawarden, and, Mrs. Lillian Russo of Sunnyvale, Calif., and five grandchildren.
