Dick Renken Of Chatsworth Dies

Dick Renken, 68, of Chatsworth, who had farmed in this territory nearly all of his life, died Friday at St. Joseph hospital in Sioux City.

He was born February 8, 1898, in Germany and came to this country when he was 14.

Funeral services were held at 10 o'clock Monday morning at St. Mary's church, Fr. William L. Carel officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's cemetery. The rosary was recited Sunday night at the Barnard-Dow Funeral home.

Survivors include the widow, Evelyn; two sons, Richard and Charles, both of Chatsworth; a daughter, Mrs. Myron Coons of Ireton; two stepsons, Robert Barr of Hawarden and Raymond Barr of Newark, Calif., and six grandchildren.
