Herman Bolster Dies At Age 82

Funeral services for Herman A. Bolster, 82, who died Tuesday of last week at his home in Hawarden, were held Friday afternoon at the Barnard-Dow Funeral home with Rev. 0. F. Pittack officiating.

Burial was in Grace Hill cemetery. Casket bearers were Carl Bottjen, C. C. Schoeneman, C. B. Thompson, E. E. Berge, Glenn Hanson and Robert Held.

B. N. Brown sang "In the Garden" and "Abide With Me." Mrs., Pauline Doohen was the organist.

Mr. Bolster was born October 29, 1884, at Allegheny, Pa., and moved to Denver in 1898. He was an account in Denver until he retired in 1951. He moved to Hawarden three years later.

Mr. Bolster married Katherine Schmidt in June of 1913 in Denver.

Surviving are the widow; a son, Elwood of Hawarden; two grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Stella Ptacek.
