Rural Ireton Farmer Killed

Harry Nannen, 54, of rural Ireton, was killed Tuesday afternoon of last week, in a tractor accident near his farm home.

Authorities, said the tractor went off a rural road in Preston township and tipped over in a ditch. Mr. Nannen was crushed beneath the tractor.

Funeral services were held Friday at St. John Evangelical Lutheran church in Preston township, Rev. James Sandvick officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mr. Nannen was born July 15, 1909, in Preston township. He married Elvina Jurgensen March 24, 1937, at Akron.

Survivors include the widow; a son, Arlen, and a daughter, Marlys, both at home, and three sisters, Mrs. Kahterine Hillrichs, Mrs. Johanna Andersen and Mrs. Marie Beeck, all of Le Mars.
