Henry Lyle Of Chatsworth Dies

Funeral services for Henry Dewey Lyle, 69, will be held at 10 o'clock Saturday morning at St. Matthew's Lutheran church at Chatsworth.

Mr. Lyle died suddenly at his home in Chatsworth Tuesday. Burial will he in Graceland cemetery in Sioux City with Rev. Harris Hostager officiating.

Mr. Lyle was born May 26, 1898, at Omaha, the son of Henry E. and Minnie Cable Lyle. He was married to Ethel Mitchell June 15, 1920, at Sioux City.
He lived in the Sioux City area until moving to Chatsworth in 1946 where he operated the grocery store until his retirement two years ago.

Mr. Lyle was a veteran of World War I, serving with the U. S. Navy. He was also an active member of the Shrine the past 47 years.

He is survived by the widow; one son, Henry D. Lyle, Jr., of Norfolk, Va.; one daughter, Mrs. Audrey Wiegert of Oakland, Calif.; three grandchildren; two brothers, Byron Lyle of Sioux City and John Lyle of Canoga Park, Calif., and four sisters, Mrs. Blanche Fear and Mrs. Avis Fisher, both of Sioux City, Mrs. Opal Komarck of Riverside, Calif., and Mrs. Minnie Mumaw of Los Angeles.
