Mrs. Anna Webert Dies At Age 80

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna J. Webert, 80, who died Monday at a Sioux City hospital will be held at 1:30 this afternoon (Thursday) at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at Ireton, Rev. A. W. Anacker officiating. Burial will be
in Pleasant Hill cemetery under direction of the Dow Funeral home.

Mrs. Webert had been a resident of the Mapes Nursing home in Hawarden for two years before entering the Sioux City hospital three weeks prior to her death.

She was born August 30, 1886 on n farm northwest of Ireton in Eagle township, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hemmingson. She married Charles Webert January 16, 1907, in Eagle township and had resided there until she entered the nursing home.

Survivors include two sons, Leslie Webert of Hawarden and Ordean Webert of Minn.; three daughters, Mrs. William Zimmerman of Hawarden, Mrs. Le Roy Dirks of Everly, lowa, and Mrs. Darrell Dirks of Canoga Park, Calif.; four sisters, Mrs. Helen Gunderson of Sioux Falls, Mrs. George Gunderson of Poulsbo, Wash., Mrs. Lillian Hollister of St. Paul and Mrs. Gay Ness of Bremerton, Wash.; two brothers, Alfred Hemmingson of Ireton and George of Dallas, Tex.; 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
