John McManaman Rites Held Today

John J. McManaman, 68, died Tuesday at St. Joseph's hospital in Sioux City.

Funeral services were held at 10 o'clock thin morning (Thursday) at St. Mary's Catholic church with Fr. William L. Carol officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's cemetery under direction of the Barnard-Dow Funeral home. The rosary was recited at 8 p. m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. McManaman was born October 29, 1898, at Larchwood, Iowa. He married Flora Noltze on February 12, 1918 at Hawarden. He was a member of St.-Mary's church, a fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Employees.

Survivors include the widow; three daughters, Miss Aileen McManaman and Mrs. Don Finch of Hawarden and Mrs. Don Storm of Bothell, Wash.; three sons, Charles of Sioux City, Jerome of Lincoln, Neb., and Michael of Hawarden; 11 grandchildren; one brother, William, of Rapid City, S. D., and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Bauman of Annandale, Va., and Mrs. Dewey Greiner of Lakefield, Minn.
