Mrs. Baack Dies At Sioux City

Funeral services for Mrs. Eldo Baack, 68, of Le Mars were held Monday at 1 p.m. at St. John's American Lutheran church in Merrill, Iowa. Burial was in Little Sioux cemetery near Milford, Iowa under the direction of the Lukens Funeral home of Le Mars.

Mrs. Baack died Friday at a Sioux City hospital.

Mrs. Baack, the former Isabella Thomas, was born November 26, 1898, on a farm north of Ireton. She married Eldo Baack August 22, 1917. She had lived in Le Mars the last six years. Prior to that time the Baacks lived in Ireton where they operated a café. Mr. Baack died December 7, 1961.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Conny Baker of Merrill, Mrs. Oina Vander Feen of Ireton, and Mrs. Patricia Tammen of Farmer City, Illinois; two sons, Orville of Le Mars and Emery of Milford; a brother, Cecil Thomas of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.; four sisters, Mrs.. Frances Amundson of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., Mrs. Alma Amundson of Nekoosa, Wis., Mrs. Bertha Terrill of Orange City, and Mrs. Velda Pulsifer of Omaha, Neb.; 24 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
