Funeral services were held at the Associated Church in Hawarden at 1:30 P.M., November 7 for Mrs. Hellmuth Schwiesow, 66, of Hawarden, who died November 4 at the Hawarden hospital.

Services were conducted by the Rev. Herbert Young and burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery at Hawarden.

Mrs. Schwiesow, the former Fern Fullerton, was born November 3, 1908 near Ireton. She was married June 10, 1927 in Akron. Mr. & Mrs. Schwiesow farmed in the Craig areas for three years moving to Hawarden in March of 1931.

Survivors include the widower; a son, Marvin of Hawarden; and a nephew Dennis Popken of Hawarden and seven grandchildren.
