SCHLESSER, PINS

Funeral services for Mrs. Henry Schlesser, 79, of Maurice were held at 10 A.M., Tuesday, Sept. 17, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Struble. The Rev. Robert Schimmer officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery, Alton. Rosary was recited at 8 P.M., Monday, Sept. 16, at the Luedtke Funeral Home, LeMars.

Mrs. Schlesser died Sunday, Sept. 15, at the LeMars Hospital after a long illness.

The former Hildagard Pins was born June 8, 1895, at Alton. She taught rural school in Plymouth county until her marriage on February 4, 1919, at Sioux Falls. The couple lived near Maurice all their married life.

Survivors are the widower; four daughters, Mrs. Eugene F. (Carmen) O'Brien of East Windsor, N.J., Mrs. Francis (Phyllis) O'Neil of Lemon Grove, Calif., Mrs. Stanley (Darlene) Barkowski of Las Vegas, Nev., and Mrs. Ray (Delores) Arens of LeMars; a son, Robert of LeMars; two brothers, Dr. Arnold S. Pins of Glen Ellyn, Ill., and Robert Pins of Boca Raton, Fla., and 24 grandchildren.
