Funeral services were held at the First Reformed Church in Sheldon May 13, for John Rozeboom, 80, of Sheldon, who died at a Sheldon nursing home May 10.

Services were conducted by the Rev. H. A. Harmelink and burial was in East Lawn Cemetery.

Mr. Rozeboom was born August 11, 1894, in Sioux Center. He married Hattie Klein February 24, 1916, in Sioux Center. They farmed near Sheldon until their retirement.

Survivors include the widow; two sons, Lambert of Sheldon and Fritz, of Orange, Texas; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Jennie Feekes and Mrs. Spencer (Nell) Rhorda, both of Sheldon, Mrs. Mary Roghair of Spencer, Mrs. Frank (Minnie) Roetman of Hospers, and Mrs. Allie Cooper of Slayton, Minn., and a brother, Robert of Sanborn.
