Funeral services were held at the First Christian Reformed Church in Orange City at 10:30 A.M., May 23 for Sam Post, 85, of Orange City, retired excavator, who died May 20 at the Orange City hospital.

Services were conducted by the Rev. John Hellinga and burial was in West Lawn Cemetery in Orange City.

Mr. Post was born February 13, 1890, in The Netherlands. He came to the U.S. in 1907.

He was married to Dora Kuiken May 22, 1924, at Ocheyedan. She died October 30, 1974.

Survivors include a son, William, of Orange City; three grandchildren and five step-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
