Mrs. Lewis (Bertha A.) Goodmanson, 93, of Paullina died Friday, Dec. 5 in the Wide View Retirement Home at Paullina after a long illness.

Graveside services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Prairie View Cemetery. Memorial services were 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Zion Lutheran Church in Paullina. The Rev. Donald Johnson officiated.

Mrs. Goodmanson, the former Bertha A. Ehlers, was born June 22,1887, in Cherokee County. She moved with her family to the Ireton area where she attended schools. She was married in 1913 at Ireton. They resided in Ireton for a brief period and moved to the Paullina area around 1920. Mr. Goodmanson died a number of years ago in Paullina. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. C. L. (Myrna) Roth of Queens Village, N.Y.; one son, Murel of Sun City, Fla.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and two brothers, Carl of Sioux Falls, SD and Ernest of California.
