Services Held For Former Resident

Funeral services for Lambert Van Wyhe, 72, of Sioux Center who formerly farmed m this area, were held at 1:30 Tuesday afternoon at the First Christian Reformed church at Sioux Center. Rev. Richard De Ridder officiated with burial there.

Mr. Van Wyhe died Sunday at the Sioux Center hospital after an illness of three and a half years.

He was born at Orange City May 31, 1893. He married Annie Van Muyden at Hawarden December 18, 1914, and they farmed in the area until moving to Sioux Center when they retired in 1954.

Survivors include the widow; two daughters, Mrs. Richard Vande Griend of Orange City, Mrs. Ordean Webert of Reading, Minn., Mrs. Peter Vande Griend of Hawarden; Mrs. William Moerman of Sioux Center, and; Mrs. Richard Vander Hoef of Steen, Minn.; four sons, Gordon, Duane and Marlin all of Ireton, and Wayne of Hawarden; one sister, Mrs. John Bultman of Chatsworth; fie brothers, John, Bryan and Peter, all of Ireton, William of Hawarden; and Richard of Norwalk, Calif., 24 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
