Le Mars Globe-Post, Le Mars, Plymouth, Iowa, USA January 28, 1957

Gerhard William Lubben, 51, died unexpectedly Friday at his home here after suffering a heart attack.

Mr. and Mrs. Lubben moved into town earlier this month after residing on a farm near here for many years.

Services are 2 p. m. Monday. (today) at Christ Lutheran church in Grant township. Rev. Donald Schmidt of Craig, la,, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of the Mauer funeral home of Le Mars.

Mr. Lubben was born December 2, 1915 in rural Plymouth county. He married the former Christina M. Haage on July 15, 1925, in Plymouth county.

Survivors include the widow, two sons. Raymond and Earl, both of Le Mars, a daughter. Miss Lorraine Lubben of Le Mars; one grandchild; four brothers, Henry, John, Phillip and Albert, all residing in Le Mars: and five sisters, Mrs. Herman Brunken, Mrs. John Oetken, Mrs. Harry Westhoff and Mrs. Arnold Westhoff. all of Le Mars and Mrs. Bruno Brunken of Struble, la.
