Mrs. Winnett Dies At Age 82

Funeral services for Mrs. Mina M. Winnett, 82, who died Friday at the Hawarden hospital where she had been a long time patient were held at 10 o'clock Monday at the Barnard-Dow Funeral home, Dr. G. S. Bruland of the First Methodist, church officiating. Burial was at Woodlawn cemetery in Sioux Falls.

Mrs. Ralph Gregg, Jr., was the soloist with Mrs. Ivoran Noe at the organ.

Mrs. Winnett was born June 25, 1883, at Anamosa; Iowa, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin. Slife. She married N. O. Winnett at Dedham, Iowa, in 1903. They moved to Sioux Falls in 1910. He died in 1950.

Mrs. Winnett came to Hawarden four years ago and lived with her brother, C. A. Slife. Two years ago she was hospitalized.

Survivors include one son, L. E. Winnett of Cincinnati, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. W. S. (Stella) Weaver of Hawarden; two brothers, C. Slife and Earl V. Slife, Sr. both of Hawarden; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
