ADRIAN M. SCHALEKAMP
Adrian M. Schalekamp, 84, of Orange City, died Tuesday, July 18, 1995 at the University Hospital at Omaha, Neb.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, July, 20 at the First Reformed Church in Orange City. Rev. Robert Hector officiated.. Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery, Orange City, under the direction of the Van Etten-Oolman-Van Gelder Funeral Home, Orange City.
Adrian was born Aug. 7, 1910 in Orange City. He graduated from Orange City High School and Northwestern Junior College. Adrian married Mildred D. Brink Sept. 1, 1939, at Orange City. They made their home in Orange City where he managed the Sieg Auto Parts until retiring in 1971. Mildred died Oct. 25, 1985.
Mr. Schalekamp was a member of the First Reformed Church of Orange City.
Survivors include a son, Arlin of Fergus Falls, Minn.; a brother, Marion of Orange City; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mildred; two brothers and two sisters.
