ADRIANNA B. SCHULLER
ORANGE CITY, Iowa - Adrianna B. Schuller, 83, of Orange City died Monday, Dec. 31, 2001, at Happy Siesta Nursing Home in Remsen, Iowa.
Services will be 1 p.m. today at First Christian Reformed Church in Orange City, with the Rev. Timothy Ouwinga officiating. Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Oolman Funeral Home in Orange City.
Adrianna Bertha, who was known as "Ada," was born Aug. 4, 1918, in rural Orange City, the daughter of Hubert and Gertrude (Reinders) Schuller. She was raised in Orange City, where she graduated from the Christian school.
She farmed in Orange City for several years. In 1957, she moved into town, where she was a seamstress for DeVries Drapery for many years. Later she was employed with K-Products in Orange City for a few years.
In 1996, Ada became a resident of Pioneer Memorial Home and transferred to Heritage House Nursing Home, both in Orange City. Since 1997, she has lived at Happy Siesta Nursing Home.
She was a lifelong member of First Christian Reformed Church, where she belonged to the Faith, Hope and Love Society and sang in the choir. Miss Schuller traveled extensively and was always willing to help others.
Survivors include two brothers, Hubert Schuller and his wife, Kathy of Orange City, and William G. Nibbelink of Orange City; and nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Gerrit Nibbelink, James Nibbelink, John Schuller and Albert Schuller; and two sisters, Dena Haarsma and Grace Marie Rowenhorst.
