Passed Away: June 14, 2000; Omaha, Nebraska
Age: 74 years, 14 days
Funeral Service: Monday; June 19, 2000; 10:30 am.

Albertus Anthony, who was known as "Bud", was the son of Steven A. and Adrianna (Van Otterloo) Van Otterloo. During World War II, he moved to Orange City, where he was employed at Silent Sioux.
On January 2, 1947, he married Arloa Betty Wassenaar at Orange City. They made their home in Orange City.
On October 18, 1948. Bud began a 41 year career as a lineman for Sioux Rural Electric Cooperative in Orange City. He retired October 18, 1989.
He was a member of the First Christian Reformed Church.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter and her husband, Linda and Fred Bloemendaal of Evergreen, Colorado; two grandsons, Scott and Todd Bloernendaal two brothers and two sisters and their spouses, Joyce and Jim Roscamp of Rapid City, South Dakota; Stan and Muriel Van Otterloo of Orange City; Norm and Linda Van Otterloo of Orange City; and Audrey and Jim Mouw of Starbuck, MN., and a brother-in-law Robert Groen, of Sibley, IA.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Larry Allan; a brother, Leon: and two sisters, Arlyce Groen and Linda Joan, in infancy.
