Mrs Lyda Vande Kamp passed away suddenly Thursday afternoon at ther home. She had reached the age of 56 years. On October 16, 1944 she was united in marriage to Albert Vande Kamp in Ireton. She is survived by her husband; 6 children: Jeanne, Mrs Dorman Koel of Rock Rapids; Mary, Mrs John Davelaar of Bigelow, MN; Charles A of Hospers; Gerrit A of Rock Valley; Alwayne M of Minneapolis, MN; and Lyle at home. In addition she is survived by 15 grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Arie of Sioux Center; Cornie of Round Lake, MN;Jake of Chino, CA;John of Rushmore, MN;Tony of Sioux Center;Henry of Minneapolis, MN; Lucy, Mrs John Luinstra of Norwalk, CA: Frank of Rushmore, MN;and Simon of Sibley, IA. She was preceded in death by one brother, Gerrit and one sister, Marie.
