HENRY NIBBELINK
SIOUX CENTER. Iowa - Henry Nibbelink, 70. of Sioux Center died Sunday. July 2, 2000, at Methodist Hospital in Rochester, Minn. Services will be 10:30 am. today at First Christian Reformed Church in Sioux Center, with the Rev. John Witvliet officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Meniorial Funeral Home in Sioux Center.Mr. Nibbelink was born July 16, 1929, in Orange City. Iowa, the son of Herman and Cynthia (TeGrotenhuis) Nibbelink. He attended Orange City Christian School. He married Dorothy Smits Dec. 28, 1950, in Maurice, Iowa. He was a member of First Christian Reformed Church. where he served as an elder and deacon. He served on various committees including the Sioux Center Christian School board. He enjoyed farming, traveling and music. Survivors include his wife; two sons and their wives. Terry and Melinda of Orange City, and Kevin and Val of Sioux Center; a daughter and her husband. Barbara and Gary Hibma of Sheldon, Iowa: his father- in-law, Ted Smits Sr. of Maurice; 10 grandchildren, Joy, Rebecca, Adam, Caleb and Cory Nibbelink, Keri Jo Frick and Laura, Tricia, Jessica and Krista Hibma; three great- granddchildren, three brothers, John, Herm and Bernie: and three sisters, Dena Brink, Hattie Kleinhesselink and Wilmyna Blankespoor. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Bill. Gerrit and an infant brother; a sister, Grace Bouwman: an infant son, Michael: and an infant daughter, Rachel
