Funeral services were held at the American Reformed Church in Orange City at 10:30 A.M., July 28 for Wilbert Kots, 71, who died July 25 at the Orange City hospital after a brief illness.

Services were conducted by the Rev. Donald Lenderink and the Rev. Albert Ten Clay and burial was in West Lawn Cemetery in Orange City.

Mr. Kots was born January 24, 1904, at Sandstone, Minn. He married Helen De Jung August 7, 1934 at Volga, S.D. The family lived in Morrison, Ill., Maurice, Buena Park, Calif., LeMars and Orange City.

Survivors include the widow; two daughters, Mrs. LaVern (Mary) Plagge of Ft. Dodge, Mrs. Nelda Claypool of Ft. Orchard, Wash.; five grandchildren; a brother, Rev. George Kots and a sister Mrs. Harold (Henrietta) Kraai, both of Orange City.
