Funeral services were held at Trinity Lutheran Church at Hawarden at 1:30 P.M., September 22 for Louis J. Kemner, 64, of Hawarden, who died September 19 at his home after an apparent heart attack.

Services were conducted by the Rev. Dwight E. Rengstorf and burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Kemner was born near Hawarden August 3, 1911. He married Ila Nelson February 2, 1936, in Sheldon. They farmed near Hawarden until February, 1974, when they retired and moved to Hawarden.

Survivors include the widow, three daughters, Mrs. Dean (Carol) Bolluyt and Miss Linda Kemner both of Hawarden, and Mrs. Melvin (Geraldine) Driver of Austin, Tex., a son, Stan, of Hawarden and 10 grandchildren.
