Funeral services were held at the Porter Funeral Home in Rock Valley at 1:30 P.M., November 10 for Henry R. Hoefakker, 62, of Rock Valley, who died at the Rock Valley hospital November 6 after a long illness.

Services were conducted by the Rev. William Suyker and burial was in Valley View Cemetery at Rock Valley.

Mr. Hoefakker was born August 16, 1913, in Rock Valley. He married Clazina Fluit December 28, 1938, in Inwood. They farmed in the Rock Valley area until retiring.

Survivors include the widow; two sons, Henry T. of Inwood and Teunis of Rock Valley; three daughters, Mrs. Wm. (Clazina) Kooiman of Rock Valley, Mrs. Gerald (Wilma) Van Beek of Inwood and Mrs. Leonard (Angeline) Den Hoed of Sioux Center, a sister, Mrs. Henry G. (Elsie) Niemeyer, of Inwood; 16 grandchildren and his mother, Mrs. Henry Hoefakker, of Rock Valley.
