Alton - Mrs. Jacob Friedmann, 92, died Sunday, at an Orange City hospital.

Services were at 11 A.M., Wednesday in St. Mary's Catholic Church. The Rev. Cecil Friedmann of Algona, her son, and the Rev. Mervin Hood, pastor, officiated. Burial was in the parish cemetery under the direction of the Van Gelder Funeral Home of Orange City.

Mrs. Friedmann, the former Catherine Schneider, was born Oct. 12, 1885, at Alton. She was married Jan. 19, 1909, at Alton. He died Sept. 3, 1940.

Mrs. Friedmann was a life-long Alton resident and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Rosary Society, and the church guild.

Survivors include three daughters, Miss Veronica Friedmann at home, Sister De Ricci of Sioux City and Mrs. Wilbur (Lillian) Heuertz of LeMars; two sons, the Rev. Cecil and Joseph of Alton; two sisters, Mrs. William (Clara) Hodatt of Las Vegas and Mrs. Leo (Hilda) Blanchette of Newburg, Ore.; 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
