Hawarden - Eilert H. "Art" Wilken, 74, of Hawarden, died Thursday, at the Hawarden hospital.

Services were at 10:30 A.M., Saturday in the Associated Church, with the Rev. Heston Milligan officiating. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery under direction of the Dow Funeral Home.

Mr. Wilken was born Jan. 11, 1904, in Grant Township, Plymouth County. The family moved to Chatsworth. He married Ruth Heubrock Jan. 4, 1934, in Sioux City. He farmed in Plymouth and Sioux County, S.D. The couple moved to McNally area southeast of Hawarden in 1972, and to Hawarden in March, 1977. He entered a care center that same year.

Survivors include the widow; a son, William of Ireton; a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Jean) Carlson of Hawarden; five grandchildren; two brothers, John of Akron, and Louis of Stuart, Fla.; and two sisters, Mrs. Tony (Meta) Bockelman of Hawarden, and Mrs. Jake (Ann) Vogelzang of Redding, Calif.
