Alton - Mrs. Edsko Klein, 72, formerly of Alton died last Saturday at a Northwood nursing home.

Services were at 2 P.M., Tuesday at Van Etten-Oolman Funeral HOme, Orange City. The Rev. Henry Eggink officiated. Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery, Hospers. (NOTE: She is buried in the Hospers Cemetery, not West Lawn Cemetery)

Mrs. Klein, the former Myrtle Tackett, was born Nov. 28, 1905, in Hungtington, W.Va. Prior to her marriage, she was a registered nurse. She was married July 25, 1930, in Hospers.

The family operated a pharmacy in Alton for 25 years, moving to Northwood in 1959.

Survivors include the widower; two sons, Jerry of Houston, Texas, and James of Washington, D.C., and seven grandchildren.
