Sioux Center - Martin Seven, 79, died Sunday in the local hospital. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Vander Ploeg Chapel with the Rev. John Piersma officiating. Burial will be in Grand Rapids, Mich.

Since 1966 Seven has been the curator for the Heritage Collection at the Dordt Library.

He survived by a niece and a nephew.
