Hull - Mrs. Jake Van Der Zwaag, 33, Hull, died Thursday, Aug. 17 at her home after a sudden illness.

Services were at 1:30 P.M., last Monday at the First Christian Reformed Church. The Rev. James Cooper officiated. Burial was in the Hope Cemetery under direction of Kraai Funeral Home.

Mrs. Van Der Zwaag, the former Verna Jean Van Engen, was born May 11, 1945, at Sheldon, Iowa. She was married Aug. 19, 1964, at Sheldon. She was a member of the First Christian Reformed Church.

Survivors include the widower; a son, Kenneth Dwayne, at home; a daughter, Darcy Jo, at home; her father, Abe Van Engen of Sheldon; four brothers, Gerald and Leslie, both of Sheldon, Adrian of Hull and Dale of Sibley.
