Rock Valley - Mrs. William Sandbulte, 78, Rock Valley, died Monday, Aug. 14 at a Sioux Center hospital after a brief illness.

Services were at 10 A.M., Thursday, August 17, at the Carmel Reformed Church. The Rev. David Laman officiated. Burial was in the Carmel Cemetery under the direction of the Memorial Funeral Home in Sioux Center.

Mrs. Sandbulte, the former Rebecca Wesselink, was born May 12, 1900, in Carmel. She was married Feb. 17, 1921, in Carmel. The couple farmed near Carmel. Her husband died Dec. 10, 1973.

Survivors include five sons, John of Edgerton, Minn., Howard of Sioux Center, Duane of Hill, Minn., Glenn of Steen, Minn., and Rodney of Rock Valley; six daughters, Mrs. August (Hermina) Ykema of Allendale, Mich., Mrs. John (Henrietta) Draayer of Ireton, Mrs. Calvin (Angiline) Korver of Alton, Mrs. Frank ((Iola) Statema of Zeeland, Mich., Mrs. Richard (Fonda) Kooistra of Patterson, N.J., and Mrs. James (Lora) Wesdra of Rock Valley; a sister, Mrs. Josie Rozeboom of Rock Valley; 75 grandchildren, and 34 great grandchildren.
