Rock Valley - Albert Gerritssen, Jr., 67, Rock Valley, died Tuesday, Sept. 5, of an apparent heart attack.

Services were at 10:30 A.M., Friday in the First Reformed Church. The Rev. Robert Voskuil officiated. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery under direction of Porter Funeral Home.

Mr. Gerritsen was born Oct. 18, 1910. He married Johanna Ver Mulm Sept. 7, 1935, at Orange City.

He operated a filling station at Rock Valley for a number of years.

Survivors include the widow; one son, Donald of Rock Valley; two daughters, Mrs. Adrian (Albertha) Klein of Pipestone, Minn., and Mrs. Sherwin (Linda) Van Otterloo of Rock Valley; one brother, Peter of Sioux City; six sisters, Mrs. Gerrit Vande Kamp and Mrs. Sam De Yager, both of Sioux Center, Mrs. Ben Roelofs of Bellflower, Calif., Mrs. Henry Driesen of Hull, Mrs. John J. Driesen of Rock Valley, Mrs. Lou Wielinga of Orange City, and 11 grandchildren.
