Mrs. Mary Reed died at the residence of her son-in-law, Thomas Higgins of Rock Valley last Week, at the age of 86 years.

(Found the family of Thomas Higgins b. 1873-1953. Wife was Martha Spain b. 1871-1949 born at Petersville IA. However if Mary was born 1814 she would have been over 50 years when Martha was born??? Presumed Mary Reed was her name by a second marriage? Anyone having more information on Mary Reed please contact our page coordinator.)
