Orange City - John Jeltema, 77, of Orange City died Friday, July 8, at Orange City hospital.

Services were at 1:30 P.M., on July 10 at the First Christian Reformed Church with the Rev. M. Jorritsma officiating. Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery under the direction of the Van Gelder Funeral Home.

Mr. Jeltema was born July 23, 1900, near Orange City and married Jessie Jasper on Feb. 26, 1926, at Orange City. They farmed in Sioux County and moved to Orange City in 1934. He was employed by the Vogel Paint & Wax Co. and was also engaged in carpentry and construction.

He was a member of the First Christian Reformed Church.

Survivors include the widow; two sons, Peter and John, both of Orange City; two daughters, Mrs. John (Gertrude) Rens of Artesia, Calif., and Mrs. John (Marcia) Pulcher of Minneapolis, Minn.; 11 grandchildren; two great grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. Dora Smits and Mrs. Peter (Bertha) Kroeze, both of Orange City and Mrs. Marvin (Jo) Timmerman of Middleville, Mich.
