Funeral services were held at Bethel Christian Reformed Church here at 1 P.M., December 12 for Henry Netten, 73, of Sioux Center, who died December 9 at Sioux Center Community Hospital after a long illness.

Services were conducted by the Rev. Henry Vanden Heuvel and burial was in Lebanon Cemetery under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home.

Mr. Netten was born in The Netherlands October 20, 1902. He came to the U.S. with his family at age 9. He married Sadie Westra January 28, 1925, at Ireton.

The couple farmed in the Lebanon and Ireton areas before retiring several years ago and moving to Sioux Center.

Mr. Netten had served on the consistory of Bethel Christian Reformed Church for several years and at one time had also served as a member of the school board of Sioux Center Christian School.

Survivors include the widow; two sons, Peter of Rock Valley and Harold of Los Gatos, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Conrad (Adelyn) DeBoom of Ireton and Mrs. Dave (Sharon) Gadomski of Vida, Ore.; three brothers, Henry of Pella, Reny of Washington and Dennis of Orange City; two sisters, Mrs. Bill Van Zee and Mrs. Frank Eiling, both of Pella; 18 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
