From the Alton Democrat of Feb 22, 1890 in the Granville Gleanings column.
We are sorry to report the death of a little infant son of Mr. and Mrs. John Leiden.
(The submitter checked all the known archives for a John Leiden in or near Granville area to no avail. With the lack of an 1890 census the family could have moved in and out of the area in that time period. If anyone know any more about this infant boy baby, please contact our page coordinator. )
