Funeral services were held at Carmel Reformed Church at 1:30 P.M., Monday, March 3, for Mrs. Art Van Ravenhorst, 67, of Sioux Center, who died at the local hospital February 27 after a brief illness.

Services were conducted by the Rev. Brook Stephens and burial was in the Carmel cemetery under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Sioux Center.

Mrs. Van Ravenhorst, the former Tracy Koel, was born near Rock Valley, February 8, 1908. She was married February 1, 1933, in Sioux Center. The couple farmed near Lebanon for 40 years before retiring and moving into Sioux Center in 1972.

Survivors include the widower; a son, Arthur, of Sioux Center; three daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Harriet) Roskam of Hudson, S.D., Mrs. Clifford (Delores) Te Slaa of Hull and Mrs. John (Janice) Van Veldhuizen of Steen, Minn.; two brothers, John of Rock Rapids and Ed of Edgerton, Wis., a sister, Mrs. Mary Schuller, of Sioux Center; and 18 grandchildren.
