Funeral services for Corwin Hoekstra were held at the First Christian Reformed Church in Orange City at 10:30 A.M., May 12, 1975. Services were conducted by the Rev. John Hellenga and burial was in West Lawn Cemetery at Orange City.

Corwin was born in Orange City February 26, 1957. He grew up on a farm near Boyden and after graduation from high school had planned to farm with his father.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Cornie Hoekstra of rural Boyden; four sisters, Mrs. James (Joan) Horstman and Mrs. Dennis (Karen) Vis, both of Sioux Center, Mrs. Arnold (Marge) Van Gelder of Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Harold (Gladys) Hoekstra of Orange City; and a brother, Alvin, of Kenosha, Wis.

Note: Corwin Hoekstra was killed in an automobile accident, three other young men were traveling with him, a large article appears with the obituary.
