Funeral services were held at Lebanon Christian Reformed Church at 1:30 P.M., Tuesday, March 18, for Theodore Hanson, 76, of rural Sioux Center, parttime custodian at the Lebanon Church, who died at his home March 14.

Services were conducted by the Rev. John Kroon and burial will be made in Memory Gardens Cemetery here under the direction of Vander Ploeg's Funeral Home.

Mr. Hanson was born at Lennox, S.D., July 9, 1898. He married Winnie Vastenhout June 9, 1938, in Sioux Center. She died November 12, 1960.

Mr. Hanson graduated from Nettieton Commercial College at Sioux Falls, in 1925 and was a bookkeeper at Balkema store here from 1925 to 1938. He operated the Lebanon store from 1938 until 1956, when he sold the business. He then served for 16 years until 1972, as the custodian of the Lebanon Church. He was incapacited for a time with a heart ailment but later returned to parttime custodial work at the Lebanon church.

The closest relative who survives him is his brother-in-law, Klaas Vastenhout of Edgerton, Minn.
