ALTON--Dick Duistermars,77, of Alton died Wednesday in an Orange City hospital of brief illness.

Services were held at 10:a.m. Saturday in Calvary Christian Reformed Church at Orange City. The Rev. Clarence Greving of Alton officiated. Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery at Orange City under direction of the Van Gelder Funeral Home.

Mr. Duistermars was born Feb.23, 1900, at Orange City. He married Lyda Rowenhorst Feb.2,1931, in the Little Brown Church in the Vale at Nashua. The Couple farmed near Middleburg until 1965 when they moved to Alton.

Survivors include the widow; two sons, David of Orange City and Verle of Alton; a brother, Elmer of Sioux Center; three sisters, Mrs. Bruce (Winifred) Woodburn and Mrs. Okka (Marie) Wielenga, both of Redlands, Calif., and Mrs. Lawrence (Johanna)Rowenhorst of Orange City, and six grandchildren.
