FRANK WASSENAAR
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 15 for Frank Wassenaar, 69 at the Christy Funeral Home in Sioux City.
Mr. Wassenaar passed away May 13 after a week's hospitalization. He was born in Capel township, February 23, l894 and was raised in Sioux County.
Mr. Wassenaar married Marie Muyskens on March 26, l9l7. They farmed at Seney and Struble, IA., and at Raymond and Pease, Minn. After moving to Orange City in l925 he was employed by the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad for five years and moved to Sioux City in l948.
He was married to Lois Gardner of Sioux City August 20, l948.
Surviving are his widow, Lois, two sons, Jerry of Parkvilld, Mo and Clifford of LeMars, two daughters, Mrs. Arloa Van Otterloo of Orange City and Mrs Wilma Bottorff of Gold Beach, Ore., four brothers George of Dixon, Ill., Stanley of Santa An, Calif., Edward of Lawton, IA., Henry of Ajlune, Wash., one sister, Mrs. Gt. Raak of Orange City, also l0 grandchildren.
