Mrs. Jacob Peters, 81, of Hospers died Friday at a Sheldon hospital of a brief illness.

Services were at 1:30 P.M., Monday in the Christian Reformed Church of Hospers. The Rev. N. Kloosterman officiated. Burial was in the Hospers Cemetery under the direction of Vander Ploeg Funeral Home of Sioux Center.

Mrs. Peters, the former Katie Vander Stoep, was born March 28, 1896, at Volga, S.D. She was married March 23, 1916, at Lebanon. He died May 23, 1970.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Cornie (Marie) Moerman of Sioux Center, Mrs. Gilbert (Caroline) Visser of Sheldon and Mrs. Morris (Esther) Scholten of Hospers; a son, Herbert of Sheldon; four brothers, Floris Vander Stoep of Maurice, Gerrit Grevengoed of Hull, Jacob Grevengoed of Rock Valley and Henry Gravengoed of Paw Paw, Ill.; a sister, Mrs. Marinus (Helen) De Ruyter of Worthington, Minn.; 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
