Mrs. Lambert Scholten, 80, of Hull died Saturday at a Rock Valley hospital.

Services were at 1:30 P.M., Tuesday at First Christian Reformed Church in Hull. The Rev. John Fondse officiated. Burial was in Hope Cemetery in Hull under direction of the Kraai Funeral Home of Hull.

Mrs. Scholten, the former Anna Verhoeven, was born May 26, 1897, in Zeeland, Mich. She was married June 7, 1922, in Hull. The couple farmed in the Sanborn, Hospers and Hull areas. They have lived in Hull since 1942 and at Pleasant Acres Nursing Home in Hull the last three years.

She was a member of First Christian Reformed Church and Helping Hands Society of Hull.

Survivors include the widower; five sons, Morris of Hospers, Ed and Andy, both of Hull, Bernard of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Jim of Inwood; a daughter, Mrs. Al (Harriet) Van Zanten of Rock Valley; 30 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
