Kent E. Kruger, 33, of George died Sunday at a Sioux Falls, S.D., hospital after a lengthy illness.

Services were at 1:30 P.M., Wednesday at the Central Baptist Church with the Rev. Morris Morley officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Lawn Cemetery under direction of the Vogelaar & Bolin Funeral Home.

Mr. Kruger was born April 27, 1944, in Iowa City. He was graduated from George High School in 1963 and married Marlene Hassebrock May 1, 1968, in Little Rock.

He served in the Sheldon National Guard and was on active duty for two years, he was employed by the Chase Bag Co. of Sibley.

Survivors include the widow; a daughter, Tanya, at home; his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Earl Kruger of George; a brother, David of George, and two sisters, Mrs. Nancy Lessard and Mrs. Larry (Julia) Marra, both of George.
